Bay Inn of Petoskey

We rented their 3 bed/2 bath house and had no complaints! Very clean, quiet, and easy access to so much to do since it is right off the main road. Check in and check out was super easy as well, and the team here was very responsive to our calls and messages! The perfect house for everything we wanted to do, would stay here again if we came back!

I had a wonderful stay here last month! The amenities were great, the views were gorgeous, and the location couldn’t be more convenient, especially being so close to Tunnel of Trees. Everything about the stay was smooth and enjoyable. What impressed me the most, though, was the customer service. I realized after I got home that I had accidentally left my puffer hat in the room. I reached out to the staff, and they responded right away. They kindly offered to ship it back to me at no charge, which I truly appreciated! Their thoughtfulness and efficiency really went above and beyond! Highly recommended!!!

We rented the three bedroom two bathroom house overlooking the bay. It's centrally located and close to everything. The views from the home overlooking the bay are nice. Courtney the office manager made it a first-class experience. I would recommend it.

Stayed for one night. Flew my plane into Harbor Springs for a ski trip. Very pleased with our stay. Lower cost but still a very nice and clean room. The bedsheets were definitely more comfortable and higher quality than other standard hotel bedsheets. Other reviews had complained about excessive noise and the rooms being loud, but we had no issues at all. We were also allowed a slightly later checkout. Definitely recommend!

We had an amazing experience at the BayInn in Petoskey! From the moment we arrived, everything was seamless. Check-in and check-out were completely electronic and incredibly easy—no waiting around, just quick and efficient. The hotel itself was spotless. You can tell the staff takes great pride in maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. Speaking of the staff, they were outstanding—responsive, friendly, and always willing to help with anything we needed. Location-wise, the BayInn is in a prime spot. It’s just a short drive to Charlevoix, Bay Harbor, and Downtown Petoskey, where you’ll find charming shops, great restaurants, and beautiful beaches. Whether you're looking to relax or explore, it's the perfect home base. Highly recommend for anyone visiting the area. We’ll definitely be back!

Very clean and comfortable room with a great view of the bay. I’d say the cleanliness is much better than average. We didn’t need anything out of the ordinary so I can’t speak to their customer service.

What a find! The price was great, the room was updated and clean, and the view was beautiful! The shower was nice, with body soap, shampoo & conditioner dispensers. The sink was separate from toilet/shower. It was nice having the flavored creams with our coffee. There is ice in a cooler next to the "office"(not a real office, more like a desk in same room as cleaning). It is a small boutique hotel, which adds to the charm. I would DEFINITELY stay here again and again. P.S. Michigan has bugs, so you might find one or 2, but that's nothing!

WOW!!!! There were many places for me to choose to stay but I decided on the cute boutique hotel, Bay Inn in Petoskey, and I’m so happy I did. Exceptionally clean, gorgeous views perfect for morning coffee with the chairs facing right towards Little Traverse Bay, and extremely accommodating staff. Everything from check in to check out was super easy and self explanatory. THANK YOU!!!!!
